Raw Sample
This is a specimen that is produced and examined within one hour after ejaculation. This is a specimen in it’s purest form that does not undergo further processing.
Post-Process Sample
This is a specimen that has been processed in the laboratory to reduce the number of non-motile or “dead cells” and other contaminants such as round cells, red blood cells, and white blood cells.
Post-Thaw Sample
This is a specimen that has undergone a full laboratory process then subsequently cryogenically frozen. This sample is then thawed back to liquid form and another analysis is performed. This will let you know how well your specimen preserves and survives the cryogenic storage process.
